We are conveniently located on the retail level in Kings Place, 440 King Street, Fredericton, New Brunswick, next to Fredericton Physiotherapy and the Post Office. Our facility includes eleven (11) treatment rooms as well as a Hydrotherapy treatment room. The Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage is located in Kings Place, in the heart of downtown Fredericton, the capital of New Brunswick. Courses run in a semester format, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A new program begins approximately every nine (9) months. A course calendar is provided to an applicant after he/she has been accepted into the program. Each course is designed to be taken in consecutive order as the material, methodology and philosophy build from one course to the next. The College also offers a Student Massage Therapy Clinic and numerous other clinical settings in which students will participate for 15 months of experience and study under the supervision of a Registered Massage Therapist. In most provinces in Canada, the first requirement to be registered as a Massage Therapist is completion of a 2200 hour Massage Therapy diploma from an accredited college. The curriculum offered by the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage is recognized by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario as equivalent to Ontario competency standards. This recognition guarantees that our students receive an education of the highest standard set by a provincial regulatory body. A student who successfully completes our 2200 hour program, WILL QUALIFY for the Ontario and the Newfoundland/Labrador Entrance to Practice Examinations.
